These characteristics translate into structural components that maintain dimensional accuracy in thermal cycling, electronic substrates that preserve signal integrity at millimeter-wave frequencies, and aerospace parts that meet NASA/ESA low-outgassing specifications. Compared to standard epoxy prepregs, cyanate ester systems also offer lower cure shrinkage and better resistance to microcracking under repeated thermal load.
