Ad Verification Software Market to Reach USD 3.71 Billion by 2034 as Both Market Leaders Change Hands

By Growth Market Reports Research, published , updated

Ontario, California, 28 September 2026. The global ad verification software market was worth USD 1.75 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach USD 3.71 billion by 2034, a CAGR of 8.7%, according to the new Ad Verification Software Market report from Growth Market Reports. The report finds the market in the middle of its largest ownership change: DoubleVerify and Integral Ad Science (IAS), which together earned about 77% of 2025 revenue by Growth Market Reports' analysis, are both moving to new owners within the same twelve months, while the rest of the field races to launch AI and connected TV tools.

Both market leaders are changing hands

Private equity firm Novacap completed its USD 1.9 billion take-private of IAS at USD 10.30 per share on 23 December 2025, and IAS named Lidiane Jones chief executive in July 2026. On 6 August 2026, DoubleVerify agreed to be acquired by Nielsen for USD 13.60 per share in cash, an enterprise value of about USD 2.15 billion, with closing expected by the end of 2026 subject to shareholder and regulatory approval. DoubleVerify's preliminary merger proxy, filed on 11 September 2026, disclosed a competing indication of interest at USD 14.50 per share that the board passed over. The consolidation follows Oracle's exit from advertising, including Moat, on 30 September 2024, which left advertisers with fewer independent verification options.

AI and CTV launches set the new competitive line

September 2026 brought two launches that show where competition is heading. DoubleVerify released Ask Neura, a conversational AI assistant inside its DV Pinnacle platform, and opened its data to outside AI tools. Pixalate launched OpenEPG DB 1.0 and a CTV pre-bid API that maps bid requests to more than 580,000 shows across 13,900+ streaming channels without any publisher integration. Earlier in the year HUMAN, long known for bot detection, launched a full verification suite, and Peer39 bought the MRC-accredited vendor Adloox.

Pre-bid protection and brand suitability lead the market

Pre-bid tools, which block unsafe or fraudulent impressions before they are bought, earned 53% of 2025 revenue and grow faster than post-bid measurement. Brand safety and suitability is the largest solution at 36% of revenue. Attention measurement is the smallest solution but the fastest growing, after the IAB and the Media Rating Council finalized attention measurement guidelines in November 2025. By channel, web display remains the largest at 28% of revenue, but the fraud problem is moving to connected TV: DoubleVerify reported a 140% rise in CTV fraud schemes in May 2026. Advertisers and brands are the largest buyer group, at 62% of spend.

North America leads, Latin America grows fastest

North America holds 63.3% of the market, reflecting where both leaders earn most of their revenue. Europe follows at 20.3% and Asia Pacific at 13.1%. Latin America is the fastest-growing region at a 12.7% CAGR from a small base, as programmatic, CTV and retail media buying expand there.

Fees per impression keep falling

Enterprise verification is priced per thousand impressions under negotiated contracts. DoubleVerify earned about USD 0.07 per 1,000 media transactions measured in 2025, down 3%, and fees across the industry are drifting lower as the largest advertisers negotiate volume deals. As a result, market revenue grows more slowly than the number of impressions verified. The report's pricing benchmarks compare enterprise, DSP pre-bid and self-serve models.

"Verification has become a market with two new owners almost overnight. Buyers should expect product roadmaps and pricing to follow those owners' priorities, and they should use the transition to test challengers such as HUMAN, Pixalate and Zefr on the specific problems that cost them most, from CTV fraud to suitability inside walled gardens."
